Far Flung Geezers: The Competition

Young Rob in Nice
The image:
Here we see Young Rob the impoverished student in Nice. Young Rob has walked, yes walked!, up a hill to get a great panoramic view of Nice, only for the cloud to come and ruin it. Nevertheless, the FFG pic was taken, with the cunning use of a baguette (in place of slapstick)
The score:
Young Rob's best entry so far (but that wasn't difficult). The view is apparently of nice (although it could be of Richmond or Whitton for all we can see! The NEC shirt is good (although a Flowers or Red Star one would have been better - then again Young Rob probably wasn't born then!). The trews are worn and the ankles are almost crossed, the baguette usage is very imaginative and certainly earns extra points. The coat (or rather ruck sack) pile is a nice (or should that be Nice - ho ho) touch and the reaction of the brunette on the right also gains Yound Rob more points - although he has been known to be laughed at by women even when not wearing the trews!
All in all a good entry - only let down by the lack of alcohol and linear distance from the Stoop. The committee have awarded Young Rob a staggering 630 points!
