Diamond Geezer Title

Far Flung Geezers: The Competition

Richard Honking
The image:
is taken from half way up Victoria Peak overlooking Hong Kong harbour.
To the left is the Bank of China Building (Note the Diamond design of the structure - obviously desgned by a Geezer!!) It's a pity he couldn't convince the doorman to light it up in Harlequin colours - that would have been a huge number of bonus points. Further to the right is the Hong Kong Convention Centre where the handover took place in 1997 (the builing that looks like a squashed Sydney Opera House).
The score:
Richard obviously does well with the linear distance from The Stoop score, the trews are worn as is a reasonably old NEC shirt, the ankles are crossed in a Harlequinesque manner - whether intentionally or not we cannot say. The place where the photo is taken from is obviously fairly tricky to get to - after all it is half way up a hill. There are no Geezering activities on display however, the lack of drinking, coat piling, singing, dancing etc reduces what could have been a very high score.
The committee of Old Geezers awards Richard a very creditable 608 points.
