Far Flung Geezers: The Competition

Wendy at Kisiizi
The image:
Here we see Wendy Stormont standing outside Kisiizi Hospital in Uganda sporting trews and poncho.
The score:
This is Wendy's third entry into the FFG competition and again she has done well. The additional wearing of the poncho with the trews is a nice touch but you just wonder how many extra points she would have got if she had crossed her ankles and raised her hands above her head (possibly using a python as a stand-in slap stick! She gets good points for the obscurity of the location, the difficulty of getting there, the use of the trews as a malarial preventative, the response of the locals (women wearing trews of any kind is frowned upon in the area). She also gets points for wearing the trews for a good charitable cause (she was on a fact finding mission for an AIDS charity). The lack of famous monument in the background lets this photo fall short of her other entries (although we have been told that the famous the Kisiizi waterfall was just behind the hospital - good try Wendy!)

The committee have awarded Wendy 627 points
