Diamond Geezer Title

Far Flung Geezers II: The Sequel

 Stanley works with orphans in south west Uganda, here he is with Brian. Brian is helped by a UK group to go to school he has just got a letter from his sponsor.

Here is Stanley with a group of local children;

Coat pile well Stanley's fleece is there but as you can see the rest of the children don't have much in the way of a wardrobe! Drinks well Stanley has his bottle of filtered water but the others will have to walk to the nearest stream to fill their Jerry cans with muddy liquid.

Accessibility well this house is 2 hours drive from the nearest tarmac road, twenty minutes walk from the track, around 5500 ft above sea level and 150 miles south of the equator it is surrounded by banana plantations.

If you would like to award a prize to Stanley which can be used to help the other children (like Brian) please send it via Geezerette Wendy, kisiiziorphans@hotmail.com.

You can find out more about Stanley's work on www.kisiiziorphans.org.uk

The score:
The distance from the Stoop, difficulty of getting to the area, wearing the Quins Bins, having a coat pile all go to giving Stanley a great score - his work adds to it too.
For a fantastic entry over all the Committee of 57 Old Geezers award Stanley a fine 940 points.

All entries must be sent to theprofessor@diamondgeezers.org.uk by 1st June 2004
